Participating Plans

GYN and office visits
You will be asked to pay your copay at the time of your visit. If you have a deductible with your plan, you will be asked to pay $100 towards the balance due or the full amount if below $100. Any balance due can be billed to you.
For clients who are uninsured, or for whom our office is not participating with insurance, we offer reasonable self-pay options. Please ask the office staff if you need an estimate of services prior to your visit.
Self-pay clients are asked to pay $100 or 50% of their balance (whichever is less) at the time of their visit. The remainder can be billed.
We accept credit/debit cards as well as HSA/FSA debit cards, checks, or cash.
Maternity Care
Pregnant families can get insurance coverage for home birth even if they are not with a participating plan. We will work with your insurance company to obtain authorization for coverage when necessary. If your plan has out of network benefits, you may need to use those benefits to cover home birth services, but we will ask for in-network coverage if it is available to you.
There is a midwifery fee for expenses that health insurance does not cover, such as instruments and equipment, birth supplies, the birth assistant(s), etc. This fee is paid out of pocket by the family no later than 36 weeks of pregnancy. Payment plans are available and we are always willing to work with you.
